On July 7, 1994 a lawyer Jeffrey, Broadbent bought his clients property while it was involved in litigation with Mr. and Mrs. Townsend over the use of a right-of-way. Soon he called the police to report that Mr. Townsend had repaired a road he did not own and it was clear that the officer favored the lawyer when he falsely accused Mr. Townsend of not acting civilly. Within three months the lawyer sued over the same issues after falsely accusing the Townsend’s of damaging their shared driveway and filling non-existing drainage trenches. Mr. Broadbent was advised in writing that taped recordings would be made as a result of the lies and obvious intention to fabricate a lawsuit. On October 22, 1994, a conversation was recorded that effectively ended Mr. Broadbent’s intended lawsuit. In spite of our agreement, he decided to proceed with his phony case and got the police involved. Then he wrote an affidavit for an officer to swear that was deceptive and well worded to accomplish his goal of obtaining an injunction. The Crown refused to prosecute so he wrote another affidavit for Ms. Tarvuud containing a charge of obstruction of justice and faxed it to the Police and the Crown before the affidavit was proven false.

Later on more attempts were made to have the Crown prosecute on a charge of Obstruction of Justice, etc. attempts.html. As you can see altogether there were 22 known attempts or threats.
